This is the tenth in my #12DaysofChristmas read-a-thon! Each day I will post a review of a winter / Christmas related book. Hopefully this will give you some Xmas-inspo and give your holiday reading a boost!
What is there to say about this, the one Christmas classic to rule them all? Forgive me for saying it, but growing up there was only one version of this for me – The Muppet’s Christmas Carol. Dickens forgive me but even now I hear all Bob Cratchit’s lines in the voice of Kermit the Frog.
Somehow I have failed until now to read the original – it’s actually an incredibly easy read too, making my oversight without an excuse. This tale of redemption through the medium of Christmas spirit is simple as it is effective.
A must for all fans of the festive period!
